Breathtaking & Serene

Laos is a land of mystery. It’s a land steeped in Buddhist traditions and beliefs. It’s a serene land – despite the war in Indochina in the late 20th century, and despite being surrounded (landlocked) by the powerful nations of China, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia and Myanmar. Only slightly over six million people inhabit this country of Buddhist temples, mountains and forests. The Mekong River is the center of life for most Laotians. If you venture outside the main tourist areas, don’t expect the comforts and ease of travel that you’ll find in other countries of the region. Laos is still relatively new to tourism. However, the adventurous traveler has a rare opportunity to interact with delightful, spiritual people who’ve had limited contact with the outside world. And, if you choose to stay in the charming town of Luang Prabang, you’ll find accommodations ranging all the way to up luxury class.

We are sad to be back. This was an amazing trip in anyway you can think of. We have traveled all around the world, but this was very different. You did an amazing job putting the itinerary together. The hotels you picked were first class (La Residence Phou Vao in Luang Prabang is a delightful hotel). We absolutely loved Laos and would like to go back. We both thank you for doing a great job and we will be planning our next trip soon.
